What appear to be eyes to the uninformed are actually just nares, the equivalent to nostrils in humans, and the mouth looking thing is the mouth. The eyes on skates and rays are on TOP of the head, instead of being near the nostrils/mouth. Number 3 is a rare species of deep sea shark that recieved some press recently because a japanese aquarium found a dying one floating in the bay that they are built next to, so they took it in to study it during it’s final hours to study it
